Pre-summer update!

Hello friends!

I realize it has been awhile since I updated this and it truly is a struggle for me to stay connected, but I am trying.
So many of you heard that Faith was unable to get baptized this past Sunday, but thankfully our pastor has been gracious enough to allow us a private baptism for her whenever we choose. We will update you all when that has been secured, with more details! She feels this is an even better option, so what was initial heart break, has turned out to bless us more : )
Canaan is turning 18 months tomorrow (Thursday) and I can hardly believe it. He is doing so many new things each day, although saying "Momma" is not one of them : ) He can, but chooses not to most of the time. He is so awesome and we are all so crazy about him and can not get enough of him : ) I will send pictures soon, so you can see just how precious he is!
Faith is finishing 3rd grade this Friday and we will be enjoying a lot of time with her this summer which we are so thankful for! She LOVES her some Canaan and of course he thinks she is the most fun person he knows : )
Paul has been traveling a lot the last few weeks, and we are ready to have him back home where he belongs. He has been working really hard and hopefully will be enjoying some more down time this summer : ) He loves his business with Aflac and has proven himself to be one of the top producers within 2 years and there is no telling where he might end up- he is really awesome in this field!
I have been working part time at Methodist Richardson Medical Center (formerly known as Richardson Regional Med. Center) as a group therapist and program coordinator. It is such a great fit for me and I really LOVE the potential impact I can have each day. Working with the mental illness comunity is such an opportunity to share hope and to encourage others and I feel really blessed!
So that in a nutshell is the latest on the Christians : ) Thank you for taking the time to read our update and I will include pictures of the kids soon!

Faith!!!

I wanted to let you all know that Faith will be baptized on Sunday, May 24 at Bent Tree Bible Fellowship. I will send more details later, but we are hoping you can save the date as this is a huge event in her life. We are so proud of her anyway, but the fact that she came to us and asked how to get baptized is such a testimony of her personal faith and confidence in Christ. Hope you can be there : )
Update: I had made a mistake and realized the date is actually May 24th and the time should be 10ish as the last service starts at 11:15am and this is only for children her age I believe. As it gets closer, please let us know if you will be able to attend so we can plan for seating and lunch afterwards! : )

Yeah!!!!!!!

We finally have a blog! Sorry it has taken so long for me to get with the program of modern technology. Hopefully, we can stay better connected this way. These are the most recent pics we have of Canaan at 12 months! He is now walking and as soon as I can figure out how to post video on here, I will : )
